Scubar Featured on BBC's Crimewatch

Scubar has featured in BBC's Crimewatch program both during the investigation and reconstruction of the murder of Helen Maughan on the 19th April 2007.

Essex police used Scubar whilst searching for vital evidence following the discovery of Helen's body in the River Colne in Colchester.

In situations where it's imperative to preserve vital evidence during searches, Scubar allows Police search and rescue teams to effectively survey crime scenes without unnecessarily disturbing the area - a feat that cannot always be achieved by divers.

Crimewatch director Adam Mallings was also able to use Scubar to record a variety of shots during the reconstruction including a body floating in the river, overhead shots of the murder scene and footage from amongst the river bank.
