The NEW SCUBAR-Tx Wireless Transmission System Launched!

Iris Innovations, manufactures of Scubar are proud to announce the launch of their Scubar-Tx Wireless Search camera system.

Scubar-Tx incorporates a high end video transmission system that can broadcast video and two way audio up to 4 kilometers – line of sight not required!

Scubar-Tx is supplied with a lightweight transmitter and battery pouch worn by the user allowing over three hours of operation between charges. Images and audio are then transmitted back to the receiver unit which can be supplied pre-assembled into the Scubar-R range of monitor stations or to a separate receiver module.

Tony Digweed of Iris explains, “Our Scubar systems are used for a huge variety of applications, especially within the emergency services. Direct feedback from customers has driven us to deliver a system that will allow operators in the field to feed live video back to support units for analysis and support.

“A number of our competitors already have wireless add-ons, but often these consist of transmitters developed for domestic CCTV, hindered by obstructions in the line of sight of the transmitter. We wanted to provide a system that would give the operator as much freedom and flexibility to get on with the job at hand without having to worry when obstacles, such as other personnel got in the way.”
